Part Two Easter how did the Passover become Easter and why and is this pleasing to God?

Part Two Easter how did the Passover become Easter and why and is this pleasing to God?

I will in this part attempt to answer these questions.

1. How did Passover become Easter- How was Passover superseded (replaced ) by Easter?

The Festival of Easter includes Lent, Ash Wednesday and Easter day on what is known as Resurrection Sunday.

Easter's pagan origins

Easter does have pagan origins going back to biblical Old testament times.  The different lands had different names for their rites of spring to celebrate the new birth of life in plant and animal life.  The people often offered sacrifices to the gods they worshiped to help with their crops and herds for them to have children.

They often used certain symbols such as rabbits or eggs to symbolise fertility or new life.

The Christian church in evangelising new areas will often assimilate the culture into the church and thereby Christianising the culture that they were living among to have people receive the gospel message.

Also a lot of early church fathers themselves came from the pagan cultures and didn't know or understand the things that God taught the Israelites through the laws of Moses or they may not have the access to the Torah to learn.

At the end of 300 years of the beginning of the new way in Christ there was a parting of the ways from the Jewish people by the Gentile church.  More on this in the next section.

In England the spring goddess was called Eostre from which we get the name Easter.

This is true for In fact my own father told me when I was a young believer in Jesus that Easter is a pagan festival it was the pagan festival of Spring.   When I first heard him say this I didn't believe it but shrugged it off.  Now I am seeing that he is right after all.

The pagan goddess behind the holiday of ‘Easter’

https://www.timesofisrael.com/the-pagan-goddess-behind-the-holiday-of-easter/#:~:text=According%20to%20Bede%20in%20his,goddess%20of%20dawn%20and%20light.

This replacing the things of God with other cultures fertility rites of Spring Festivals, is in fact a poor substitute for the Feast days which the Lord God gave to the Israelite people as these Feast days were to represent His Son when He came to the earth.  The Spring Feasts are connected to His coming as the sacrificial lamb and the bread of life as well as first fruits.

The Feast of Shavuot or Pentecost is to do with God sending His Holy Spirit to the earth to bring all people to the saving knowledge of His Son.  The final autumn Feasts is to do with the end time harvest and the return of His Son to the earth as king and judge to dwell among His people to rule on the earth.

In a way replacing the Feasts that God gave to the people of Israel with pagan feasts of fertility rites is not what God intended and these fertility rites were an abomination to Him.  He judged the people of Israel for worshiping these false gods and following their pagan ways to get a bountiful harvest.

These things do not represent Jesus at all but the early church in its wisdom thought it was a way of bringing people into the church.

So by allowing people to keep on with their fertility rites but trying to sanitise them by Christianising these feast days they were in fact bringing idolatry into the church.

As not all those new people coming into the church were really born again through the preaching of the gospel.

Exodus 20:1-6

1 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Deuteronomy 32:16-17

16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

1 Corinthians 10:16-22

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Trying to look at what Jesus did on the cross through the lens of these spring rites does not make sense and it is putting Christ under that which is idolatrous or demonic.

As the spirit behind these Spring rites is of the devil and not of God and the way people behave even today in the Mardi Gras just shows that spirit is not of God through the debauchery and the lifestyle these people flaunt ie the homosexual lifestyle in the gay pride parades which they call the gay Mardi  Gras in Sydney Australia as an example.

Unfortunately these things are so entrenched and are part of our culture it will be too hard to undo them now.  Only when Jesus returns to this earth will these things be sorted out and God will have His true Feast days of Passover and Tabernacles which are eternal Feasts to be celebrated and acknowledged.

It is best to learn what God intended for us to understand in regards to His Son's coming by looking at the Passover and the other Spring Feasts.  Seeing them in their proper context helps bring a deeper understanding of what Jesus did on the cross and how His resurrection represents the first fruits of a greater harvest.

It would be good if possible to have a Passover Seder meal in the week we celebrate the Lord's death and resurrection to  help bring the truth home in what Jesus did for us when He had His last Passover Seder meal with His disciples.

In doing this it helps to bring home the truth and reality of what it means that Jesus is our Passover when we put it back in the proper context of God rescuing  His Israeli people from Egypt the first Passover.

Then seeing how Christ rescued us from eternal death through giving up His life in exchange for our life taking our sins so that we can go free and live with Him forever.

That He is our Passover in that God's righteous wrath against sin will Passover us when Jesus returns at the end of the age and brings judgment upon those who are not His and allowing those who are His - whose sins have been cleanses by His blood and their names are in His book of life -  to enter into His kingdom of righteousness.

As well as celebrating His resurrection on Resurrection Sunday which is the Feast in association with the First Fruits in the week of Passover and unleavened bread Leviticus 23.  So we can rightly call the first Sunday after Jesus's death on the cross First Fruits Sunday. For Jesus is the first fruits of the harvest of salvation.

By calling this Sunday either Resurrection Sunday or First Fruits Sunday it will make more sense and will fit in better with what the scriptures say. Rather than calling this Sunday by the name of Easter which is foreign to the scriptures and the Jewish culture that Jesus was part of.

I have given below some links to show how these things are from pagan origins.  They are from different sources, some Christian, and some secular.

Makes No Sense for Contemplatives to Celebrate Easter

What is written in the articles given above may be an eye opener to some of you who are reading this article and you may not have been aware of these things.

Please do not dismiss what is written in the articles but read them prayerfully with an open listening heart to the Holy Spirit to hear what He has to say about the origin of Easter.

I have written in great detail of how Jesus fulfilled in entirety the Feasts that God ordained of Passover, Unleavened bread and First Fruits in part one.  So I will not go further into this topic here.

2. How did this come about and why?

This is going to be my main point of this article, for when I started out to write this article I was focusing on showing how Passover and the other Feasts in connection to Passover is not compatible with the festival of Easter.

Then as I began to research and dig down into this topic I began to realize that there was a bigger darker thing that has been in the churches for centuries but has been covered over.

The thing that has blinded the church for centuries and has caused a false foundation to be laid because it has replaced the true foundation of the bible and the replacing of  the chosen Israeli people of the bible with another group ie the Gentile church.

Thereby causing a huge rift between the Christian church and the Jews and causing deep wounding and hatred along with mistrust between the two groups of people.

Jesus warns if Matthew 7 about not building on sand but to build on the rock ie to be obedient to His commandments.

Matthew 7:24-27

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

What is the elephant in the room that the church doesn't want to face and God is now wanting them to face this truth and search their hearts about?

The elephant in the room is replacement theology or supersession theology.

In fact there is a link between the changing from Passover to Easter and replacement theology.

Although the early church did try to link Passover and Easter at first but later on they were separated to make a distinction between the Jewish Passover and the Christian observation of Easter in connection to the resurrection of Jesus.  Yet Easter does have pagan roots as is seen in the articles given above.

Easter Sunday was the day in question that those in the council of Nicaea wanted to change from what the Jews observed as part of their Passover Feast days.

This day was the day of First Fruits and this was the day on which Jesus rose again from the dead on.  It has nothing to do with the rites of Spring or sun worship but it is connected to the Spring barley harvest.

Where the Jewish people were to bring an omer of the first fruits of their harvest to the temple to be waved before God to obtain a plentiful harvest.  This was the beginning of the countdown to the Shavuot / Pentecost the counting of weeks.  Leviticus 23 gives details of this.  I have touched on this in Part One of Passover verses Easter.

The moving of our observing the death and resurrection of Jesus from Passover to Easter was made permanent at the Council of Nicaea in 325AD through the edict of Constantine.

I have included from the article from Passover to Easter some paragraphs showing how the seeds of replacement theology were sown at the Council of Nicaea in 325AD.  The author of the article has made comments in brackets in the article.

From Passover to Easter

https://www.prevailmagazine.org/from-passover-to-easter/

by Bill Watson

Yet, this trend finally became law in the year 325 A.D. at the Council of Nicaea. Again, notice from the Catholic Encyclopaedia:

“The emperor himself [Constantine] writing to the churches after the council of Nicaea, exhorts, ‘At this meeting the question concerning the most holy day of Easter was discussed, and it was resolved by the united judgment of all present [regardless of the example of Jesus Christ, Matthew 26:17-30] that this feast ought to be kept by all and in every place on one and the same day [Easter Sunday]…And first of all it appeared an unworthy thing that in the celebration of this most holy feast we should follow the practice of the Jews, who have impiously defiled their hands with enormous sin… For we have received from our Savior a different way [Where then is the Biblical proof or Christological authorization?] …and I myself [Constantine] have undertaken that this decision should meet with the approval of your sagacity in the hope that your wisdoms will gladly admit that practice which is observed [Easter Sunday] at once in the city of Rome and in Africa, throughout Italy and Egypt… with entire unity of judgment.”

And finally, under the article Councils in the Catholic Encyclopaedia, again we read about the purpose of the Council of Nicaea. “The first ecumenical, or council, of Nicaea (325 A.D.) lasted two months and twelve days. Three hundred and eighteen bishops were present. Hosius, bishop of Cordova, assisted as legate of Pope Sylvester. The Emperor Constantine was also present. To this council we owe the Creed of Nicaea, defining against Arius [which was a heresy challenging the divinity of Jesus Christ] the true divinity of the Son of God, and the fixing of the date for keeping Easter” [Which opposed the Quartodecimans who observed Passover].

I will include some paragraphs from the following article

Constantine and the Foundations of Anti-Semitism

https://free.messianicbible.com/feature/constantine-foundations-of-anti-semitism/

Replacing the Lord’s Holy Days

When theological differences began dividing Constantine’s Christian empire, he called together the Council of Nicaea in 325.

The council of some 300 bishops adopted a creed which most churches embrace — up to this very day.

The Nicene Creed expresses a belief in God, in Yeshua the Christ (Messiah) as the Son of God and of the “same substance” as the Father, and the Holy Spirit.

Although nothing in the Nicene Creed is anti-Jewish, at this and later councils, the bishops moved to officially distinguish the new practices of Christianity from Judaism.

The first act in this effort was to set a date for a brand new holy day of Easter as the resurrection of Yeshua.  This day would be distinct from the Biblical dates of Passover and First Fruits, which were the dates when Yeshua actually died and rose from the grave.

At the Council of Nicaea, Constantine read out the letter that he would subsequently send to churches everywhere:

“When the question arose concerning the most holy day of Easter it was decreed by common consent to be expedient, that this festival should be celebrated on the same day by all, in every place…

“And truly, in the first place, it seemed to every one a most unworthy thing that we should follow the custom of the Jews in the celebration of this most holy solemnity, who, polluted wretches, having stained their hands with a nefarious crime, are justly blinded in their minds…

“It is fit, therefore, that rejecting the practice of this people, we should perpetuate to all future ages the celebration of this rite, in a more legitimate order…

“Let us then have nothing in common with the most hostile rabble of the Jews.”  (In “How the Church Lost the Way,” by Steve Maltz, Saffron Planet, 2009).

Let us then have nothing in common with …  the Jews” sums up one of the key ideas behind much subsequent legislation against them and the sad state of anti-Semitism we see today.

Constantine also began claiming land in Israel for the Christian Church through his mother, Helena.  During her visit in 326 to 327, Helena identified where key events may have taken place in Yeshua’s life, and Constantine built churches at those locations.

At the Council of Antioch in 345 AD, Christians were banned from celebrating the Passover Seder (ritual meal) with Jewish friends or neighbors.

Then at the Council of Laodicea in 363–364 AD, the Biblical Sabbath day was outlawed:

“Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord’s Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians.  But if any shall be found to be Judaizers, let them be cursed from Christ.”  (Canon 29)

By this time, all things Jewish were understood to be totally incompatible with Christianity.

The Messianic Jewish faith of “The Way” that the Jewish Messiah and His Jewish followers started was officially buried over these 300 years, and the new religion called Christianity arose.

Replacement theology has caused a mixture to be brought into the church and has caused great harm down the centuries through inquisitions, crusades, hatred, persecution and trying to wipe out a people group ie the Jewish people altogether as seen in the Holocaust.

The world's hatred of the Jews hasn't stopped it is still there in the secular world and it is seen through the US helping Iran become nuclear ready and Biden arming Palestinians troops and training them up.

It must be noted that born again bible believing followers of Jesus were also persecuted and put to death too during the inquisitions and other forms of persecutions and even during the Holocaust some Christians were sent to concentration camps Corie Ten Boon was one of them.

She was in Ravensbruck concentration camp.  Other Christians too were sent to these camps especially a lot of Polish people.  Christian people who were born again did suffer the world's hatred and persecution because the Spirit of Jesus was in them and this included both Jewish and Gentile believers.

Sowing of Tares among the wheat and the results

Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

When the early church fathers and Constantine met in Nicaea in 325 AD tares were sown among the wheat through this supersession theology that man and the devil dreamed up.  God didn't change things man did.

This change was not brought about by Jesus, the apostles or the church father's who were taught by the apostles.  This was brought about through Gentile believers who were in leadership of the church and were hostile to the Jewish believers.

The Council of Nicaea only solidified what had been brewing for decades the hatred and distrust of the Jews and finally in this Council the split between the two groups took place based on the Feast of Easter instead of keeping the observance of Passover at the same time between the two groups.  They made Easter to be a moveable Feast with the lunar calendar to be the bench mark of having a separation between the two groups of people.

Why Some Feasts Are Movable

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2005/02/why-some-feasts-are-moveable.html

The people who met to have this Council of Nicaea did not pray about bringing about this change, they didn't get this direction to change things from God through a prophetic word or edict directly from the Lord Himself.  Or from the scriptures themselves.

Man had no respect for the words of God as the Gentile church grew they wanted to change things to make out that God had finished with the Jewish people and had replaced them with the Gentile church.  When God hasn't done so at all.

Did the Council of Nicaea add to or take away from the scriptures?

I believe they did both, they took away from the words of the scriptures by changing the meaning of the scriptures themselves by spiritualizing them, making them allegories or metaphors when they were to be taken literally.  They wiped out whole pieces of eschatology when it is related to God returning and showing favour to His Jewish people and will rule from among them on M Zion.

These passages are overlooked, left out or ignored or spiritualized away or made to be of no relevance at all to the church or end times.  Different theories about the return and reign of Christ came about because of this meddling with the scriptures.

Also things have been added to the word by the church the Gentiles being put in the place of the Jewish people and the Gentile church has been inserted into the scriptures to make the scriptures about God's dealings with literal Israel and Jerusalem to be spiritually about the church.  Which doesn't make sense nor does it fit.

In speaking about the church in this article I am referring to the church overall regardless of denominational makeup.

Although further down I will be speaking about one denomination that has brought all other denominations back under its yoke which will make up the harlot apostate church.

Warning from God not to meddle with His Holy writ

God has sternly warned us in His word not to add to it or take away from the words in His book.

Deuteronomy 4:2

2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Proverbs 30:5-6

5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Revelation 22:18-19

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

We are warned to listen to His Son Jesus

He has warned us to listen to the Prophet that He will raise up after Moses, that prophet being Jesus.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19

18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Matthew 17:1-5

1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

John 12:44-50

44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Acts 3:22-26

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

So why are people including the leaders in the church not listening to His words and adding to them and taking away from them?

Why is the church not trembling in fear at God's holy word and repenting of what it has done by replacing God's chosen people with another set of people?  Why are they not afraid of the fierce wrath of God to come upon the house for judgement begins with the House of God?

1 Peter 4:17

17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

God is starting to shake things up to wake people up.

Yet I believe the time is now that God is shaking everything that can be shaken and He is trying to wake people up to get them thinking to see the truth.

Hebrews 12:18-29

18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29 For our God is a consuming fire.

A time of separation is coming

There will come a day very soon when God will call His people out of the apostate harlot system pretending to be His true body of believers.  For we shall know them by their fruits.

Those who come out of the false system will end up going into hiding just like the first century believers did.  As true Christianity will become illegal and will be persecuted even more even in the western world.  This is already happening.

The harlot system is that system that endorses everything but the scriptures which includes Wokism, liberal theology, critical race theory, endorsing abortion, euthanasia, climate change, saving the environment or mother earth, supporting the immoral lifestyle of the LGBT plus, hatred of Israel and supporting the Palestinians in their quest to murder the Jews.  Embracing cultures in their worship of pagan deities.

The Catholic church through this current Jesuit Pope in the Vatican is the one who is leading the charge in all of these changes and they have also brought through a false unity the bringing back of the separated brethren ie the Protestant churches.

Now a lot of those Protestant churches have joined with Rome and this was brought about through thee Vatican II Council to win back the Separated brethren and through Contemplative Spirituality the going down into silence and different forms of prayer that is linked to Eastern Mysticism.  There is a link about this in the articles given at the beginning of this article between Easter and Contemplative Spirituality.

Please read the other articles on this web site about the dangers of the Pope and Catholicism.  This web site was set up by an ex priest of this system who knows what it was like on the inside of this system.  He got marvellously saved by the Lord Jesus Christ through the reading of the scriptures.

I am including this web site in this article so that you can be informed of the dangers of this movement.  I am only writing about these things to show how late the hour is and to make you aware of the dangers the perilous times we are now living in so that you will not be caught unawares.

This harlot will be riding the beast of Islam and there are articles on the Berean Beacon's website about the Pope's link to Islam.  I will include that link too.

To read other articles on the Berean Beacon website go to the top left hand corner on that web site.  There are three horizontal lines click on those lines and other topics will appear.  Click on the topic you want to look at and articles will come up under that topic's heading.

People are being persecuted in the Western world by this false church system and sooner or later those who love Jesus and want to obey His scriptures will end up being either thrust out of the Harlot system or would be forced to leave and go underground into hiding to meet together in secret.

These changes in the visible church system will get worse and worse and the persecution will get stronger and stronger.  Until people will end up literally giving up their lives to gain the higher life this will occur during the Great Tribulation when a mark will be forced upon people to show their allegiance to the false messiah that the harlot church / religious system will endorse.

That is why God will call His true people to come out of this evil system.  People from all denominations including the Catholic church will come out and just be called saints this will be during the time just before the Great Tribulation or during it.

Revelation 18:1-10, 19-24

1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Matthew 7:13-23

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The truth God has not replaced His chosen people with the church.  He still cares for the literal land of Israel and the literal city of Jerusalem.

This can be very challenging when you have believed something for years and it has been taught for centuries that it is true but it isn't true about God replacing the Jewish people with the church.

That He no longer has a chosen ethnic people that the church has replaced them.  That the city of Jerusalem no longer matters and the church is Jerusalem.

These things are lies and nowhere in scripture does God say He has replaced the Jewish people, His city of Jerusalem no longer matters or the land of Israel no longer maters nowhere is it written like this.

The following scripture passages are the truth showing how deeply God cares for Jerusalem and it is still His city and how much He cares for His land Israel.  Which is still His land it belongs to Him and how much He cares for the people of Israel.  So much so that He sent His Son who came to the earth to be born as a man to save them from their sins and the rest of humanity from their sins by  dying on a Roman cross in the fullness of time.

Jeremiah 3:14-19

14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

Zechariah 2:3-13

3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord.

7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

11 And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

12 And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Do not have murder ie hatred in your hearts towards the Jewish people they are still God's beloved people for the sake of the Patriarchs and God's holy name.

The hatred of the Lord's physical brethren is murder it is murder in the heart.  We are to show mercy to all people and take the gospel to all people.

Yet many are aiding God's enemies today including those within various church denominations,  by siding with a people group who have no right to the land of Israel.  A people group who hates the Jews and commits atrocious terrorist acts against them and claim falsely the land belongs to them.

That people group being the Palestinians.  This people group even claims falsely that Jesus was a Palestinian He was not born an Arab from the line of Ishmael.  Jesus is a Jew because He comes from the line of Isaac, the son God tested Abraham to offer up in a sacrifice Genesis 22.

How the Palestinians got their name

Exodus 20:13

13 Thou shalt not kill.

Romans 13:8-10

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Jesus is a Jew

Jesus was born a Jew, He died a Jew and is still a Jew in heaven and he will return to earth as King of Glory as a Jew and will rule from the throne of David over the House of Jacob and the nations on Mt Zion in Jerusalem.

Matthew 2:1-12

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Matthew 27:31-37

31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,

34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

36 And sitting down they watched him there;

37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.

John 19:14-20

14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews.

20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

Revelation 7:5-10

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Revelation 22:16

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Psalm 2:6-12

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Luke 1:30-33

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Both Jesus and His Father are the Glory of Israel as their God

Jesus is the glory of Israel and God called Himself this in the Old Testament.

Luke 2:25-32

25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

God in the Old Testament refers to Himself as the Glory of Israel.

1 Samuel 15:29 NASV

29 Also the Glory of Israel will not lie nor change His mind; for He is not a man, that He would change His mind.”

God means what He says and He doesn't neglect His word, His word goes forth and doesn't return to Him void.

Isaiah 55:11

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

3 So is the replacing of God's chosen people with the Gentile church pleasing to God?

I will have to say a resounding no it is not, God did allow the things that happened to the Jewish people down the centuries because His focus was on getting the gospel out to the nations.

He did allow the gentile church to persecute His people down the ages but He had to cause events such as the Reformation, the Puritians, the Wesleyans and other events to keep the gospel moving forward from the rut it had fallen into.

He was aware of the hatred towards the Jewish people their persecution, killing of them the blood libels and ill treatment of them even when they converted to Catholicism or other Christian denominations they were not allowed to follow the teachings of God from the Torah to keep the Feast days or to circumcise their sons.  Jesus was circumcised as well.

Luke 2:21

21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

God did hide His face from His people but a day of judgement is coming for those who mistreated His chosen people.

God did hide his face from His people throughout the centuries but at the end when they call for Him He will make it known to the whole world that they are His people and He is their God.

The only scriptures that says anything about God being displeased with the Jewish people is when it states that He hid His face from them for a while.

God hiding His face from His people and returning His favour to them.

Deuteronomy 32:8-43

8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

9 For the Lord's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

12 So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;

14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

19 And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.

20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.

24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.

25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.

26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the Lord hath not done all this.

28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.

29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?

31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?

35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

36 For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,

38 Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.

39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.

43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

Isaiah 54:7-10

7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.

9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

Ezekiel 39:21-29

21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward.

23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God.

Judgements on the nations

Joel 3:9-21

9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.

12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.

Matthew 25:31-46

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

God comforting and redeeming the literal land of Israel and literal city of Jerusalem.

The church has tried to do away with the prophetic scriptures or scriptures that speak of God comforting Jerusalem, redeemign her and Israel and applied this wrongly to the church.  If we take the blessings we should take the curses as well.

God made Israel the land and Jerusalem the city eternal because when Jesus died on the cross outside the walls of the camp He died for Jerusalem the city to redeem her and the nation of Israel to redeem the land by His blood.

Isaiah 52:6-9

6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.

9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

Isaiah 53:8

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

John 11:46-53

46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.

47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.

48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

Hebrews 13: 9-13

9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

So they will be eternal.  How many times in the Old Testament God said He will choose Jerusalem again, He will comfort her, He will redeem Her that He is Her king and Holy One of Israel.  These scriptures speak about the literal Israel and literal Jerusalem.  This is not the Gentile believers who largely make up the church today.

Isaiah 40:1-2

1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.

Isaiah 62:1-12

1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Jeremiah 31:1-14, 31-40

1 At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

2 Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God.

7 For thus saith the Lord; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

10 Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord.

31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35 Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:

36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37 Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord.

38 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the city shall be built to the Lord from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.

40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the Lord; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

Jeremiah 32:37-44

37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:

38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

42 For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the Lord.

Zechariah 8:1-8

1 Again the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying,

2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

3 Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain.

4 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

6 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the Lord of hosts.

7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

We who are grafted in must not boast against the fallen off native branches the Jewish people.

We who are Gentile believers are grafted in by grace so why are we not showing the same mercy and grace to His Jewish people?  He has not forsaken or caste off His people.

Romans 11:1-32

1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,

3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:

10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

16 For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear:

21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

As the blessings of the Jewish people have come spiritually to us through Jesus and the scriptures.  So too we should minister unto them in love both physically and even spiritually through sharing the gospel.

Romans 15:25-27

25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

We send missionaries to other nations but not to the Jewish people.  The gospel was to go out to both people.

Acts 1:8

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Romans 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Jesus is their Messiah first and foremost before He became ours.  He forgave them from the cross too.

Luke 23:33-34

33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Salvation comes form the Jews through Jesus.

John 4:22

22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

The first apostles and disciples were Jews and many believed on the Lord on the day of Pentecost through the sermon of Peter.

For 300 years both Jews and Gentiles lived in harmony with each other until the time of the church fathers who sowed tares among the wheat bringing division, mistrust and hatred between the two groups.

We are co heirs with them and Jesus broke down the dividing wall between our two people groups but man and satan got in the way.

Ephesians 2:11-22

11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Ephesians 3:6

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

God is saying wake up test what you have been taught examine your hearts and be willing to allow me to change your mindset to see what is the truth.

He wants people to step up to the plate to help His people in their hour of need during the Great Tribulation to help hide them from those who want to kill them.  Just like He had people hide the Jews during the Holocaust.

God will be their hiding place.

Ezekiel 11:16-20

16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Isaiah 26:20-21

20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Another time worse than the Holocaust is coming upon the earth Jesus spoke of this He showed John this in the Revelation He gave him.

We must take these things seriously and not spiritualize them away they are real and things are heading this way through what is happening on the earth now.

Jesus will return to Israel bringing the kingdom of God to the earth.  He will return to Jerusalem splitting the Mt of Olives in half returning to the place where He left from.

Acts 1:9-12

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

Zechariah 14:1-9

1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

So are you going to continue to hate the people of Israel or are we going to open your hearts to them.

Are we going to hear the Spirit's cry to you to open your hearts to His fallen off branches - brethren and show them mercy to pray for their salvation.

To recognize that the land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel the descendants of Isaac through whom God made the promise to Abraham to be the son of the promise.  The land being given to his son's descendants. Jacob's twelve sons and Jacob was called Israel twice by God.

Genesis 32:22-30

22 And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.

23 And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.

24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Genesis 35:9-13

9 And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him.

10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

13 And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him.

Jesus is the chief descendant of the Patriarchs and it is His land and inheritance being both the Son of man and the Son of God.

Leviticus 25:23

23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

Deuteronomy 32:8-9

8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

9 For the Lord's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

Zechariah 2:8

12 And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

God deals very severely with those who reject His people and land for by doing so they are rejecting His Son and His prophetic words.

They are not honouring either the Son or the Father by not showing mercy to the Jewish people.

John 5:22-23

22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Even Isaac in speaking the blessing over Jacob said the same thing to him that God said to Abraham that whoever blesses him will be blessed and those who curse him will be cursed.  By doing the blessing or cursing they are blessing or cursing God and His Son themselves.  Jesus is part of the Jewish people through His human birth His life was entwined with theirs literally.

Genesis 12:1-3

1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Genesis 27:21-29

21 And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.

22 And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.

24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

25 And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine and he drank.

26 And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.

27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the Lord hath blessed:

28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

So the question is when your eyes are opened to the truth and yes you will need to go to God in prayer to check this out and to read His word not through the blinkers of what you have been taught through tradition.

You need to allow the Holy Spirit to open the word up to you and to see it for what it is saying not by what man says but allow God to open the word to open your minds to understand what is written.

Luke 24:45

45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

This is having the mind of Christ.  The truth about God not replacing His chosen people of Israel with the church is not discerned by the natural way of thinking but through the understanding given to us by the Holy Spirit who opens up the scriptures to us.

1 Corinthians 2:10-16

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

Traditions of man nullify the things of God and this is not pleasing to Him at all. Jesus is speaking to the Pharisees in these verses but it can just as much apply to the traditions that are held by the churches today. They too nullify the things of God.

Mark 7:13

13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Matthew 15:3

3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

The important thing to remember is that God is for Israel and he has engraved the walls of Jerusalem on His hands.

Isaiah 49:13-16

13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

14 But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

He will return to Jerusalem at the end of the age and Israel is now back in her land and the city of Jerusalem is now back in Israeli hands. The time of building the third temple is drawing closer and the prophetic scriptures that have been pending for centuries are now rapidly coming to pass.

Jesus fulfilled at His first appearing hundreds of scriptures to do with His life, death and resurrection.  If He fulfilled these scriptures in their entirety then surely He will fulfil the scriptures that are to do with God's judgments on the earth and how God will rule and reign physically in the midst of His people in the age to come.  These scriptures speak of Jesus Himself.

Isaiah 9:6-7

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 11:1-13

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

Isaiah 49:6-8

6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

7 Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

8 Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Zechariah 6:12-13

12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:

13 Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Isaiah 60:1-22

1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the Lord.

7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.

13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.

18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.

As you can see from the scriptures I have given in this article the Lord God of Israel has not forsaken or caste off His chosen people.  For He is faithful to His word even when we are not faithful.

Malachi 3:1-6

1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Hebrews 13:5-6, 8

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

The Answer which is right in God's sight between Passover verses Easter.

The answer is the Passover is right in God's sight.

Why do I say this?

I say the Passover is the right one because today 9 April 2023 I have watched a very interesting you tube video from One for Israel on how the last supper was the Passover meal.  I was not influenced by this view point when writing this article on Passover verses Easter, as I didn't know about this until I watched it today.

I believe God led me to this video to affirm that what I have written is right and it is from Him.  This is the answer as to which is right in God's sight because the Passover is about Jesus as the Messiah in fulfilment of scripture.

That Jesus is the Passover sacrifice of scripture.  Easter has nothing to do with scripture this was an added thing that is not biblical.

The Passover is a forever eternal Feast that speaks of God's eternal redemption through His Son Jesus.  Easter has no connection this idea of redemption for it is a fertility cult which has no references to a sacrifice for redemption.

When you watch this video you will see how scripture bears this out that the last meal Jesus shared with His apostles was in fact a Passover Seder meal.

SHOCKING exposé! Israeli professors unveil secrets of the Passover seder

In Conclusion
The things I have written in this blog post will be startling they will challenge you, they will make you feel like your world has been turned upside down and you have been thrown around in a washing machine.

That your core beliefs have been challenged.  I do heartily understand where you come from because I too have been there.

While some of you may know the truth about Israel and God's love for her but be prepared for God will continue to challenge you and stretch you in what you think / believe.

I am writing from a biblical perspective that is from the Hebrew mind or world view which is the correct way at looking at the bible because when you learn to read the bible from this view point which is God's view point then everything falls into place and makes sense.

I am just a messenger to pass the message on and please let the Holy Spirit speak to you and for you to start this journey of discovery of the truth about the Israeli people and the return of Jesus to His land when the people open the door of their heart to Him.

I will end my discourse here and let the Spirit of God who is the Spirit of truth lead you into all truth.
