lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house
round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they called unto Lot, and
said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them
out unto us, that we may know them.
6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and
shut the door after him,
7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so
wickedly.
8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have
not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them
as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came
they under the shadow of my roof.
9 And they said,
Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he
will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And
they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10 But the men put forth their
hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
11 And they smote the men that
were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that
they wearied themselves to find the door.
12 And the men
said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy
daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
13 For we will destroy this
place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and
the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.
14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in
law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for
the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed
as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
15 And when the
morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and
thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the
city.
16 And while he lingered, the men
laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of
his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him
forth, and set him without the city.
17 And it came
to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy
life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the
mountain, lest thou be consumed.
18 And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in
thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in
saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me,
and I die:
20 Behold now,
this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape
thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
21 And he said unto him, See, I
have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this
city, for the which thou hast spoken.
22 Haste thee, escape thither;
for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the
city was called Zoar.
23 The sun was
risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
24 Then the Lord rained upon
Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;
25 And he overthrew those cities,
and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew
upon the ground.
26 But his wife
looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 And Abraham
gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:
28 And he looked toward Sodom and
Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke
of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
29 And it came
to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered
Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the
cities in the which Lot dwelt.
Jesus rightly said that the last days before
His return will be like the days of Noah and Lot.
Matthew 24:37-44
37 But as the days
of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were
before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood
came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the
field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at
the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know
not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the
goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would
have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Luke 17:20-37
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees,
when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of
the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many

27 They did eat, they drank, they
married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered
into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the
days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted,
they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went
out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus
shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day,
he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not
come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not
return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever
shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life
shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two
men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the
one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall
be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where,
Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles
be gathered together.
Also Jerusalem is called the city of Sodom and
Egypt in Revelation 11.
Revelation 11:1-14
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a
rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the
altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple
leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy
city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will
give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two
hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees,
and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them,
fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man
will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power
to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power
over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as
often as they will.
7 And when they shall have
finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit
shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall
lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and
Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and
tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and
shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall
rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because
these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after
three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they
stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice
from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in
a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a
great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake
were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave
glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and,
behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
Also in the last days there will be a chasm
between those who are righteous and holy and those who are unjust and filthy
the two shall not be mixed anymore.
Revelation 22:1-23
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of
life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on
either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner
of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were
for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the
throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name
shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they
need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light:
and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of
the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which
must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed
is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them.
And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the
angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not:
for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which
keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings
of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is
unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy
still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is
holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward
is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments,
that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the
gates into the city.
15 For without
are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and
whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto
you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and
the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And
let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever
will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify
unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man
shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are
written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away
from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out
of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are
written in this book.
20 He which testifieth these things saith,
Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
It is obvious that these people do not fear
God, for if they did, they would not be holding this festival on the very spot
God destroyed the cities of the plain through fire and brimstone.
He will
also do this again through His just judgements as are described in the book of
Revelation, Daniel and other Old Testament prophets.
These people think they can poke God in the eye
and get away with it but they won’t.
Christians reading this article should be
outraged by what these people are doing in mocking God through having this
Festival on the very spot God poured out His righteous wrath upon the earth.

The land is a witness against what is happening
here as is heaven and God doesn’t forget, He doesn’t take sin lightly He
destroyed the cities of the plain because of the cry of their sinfulness that
ascended to heaven.
He sent His beloved Son to die for the sins of
the world, but these people mock what God has done through judgement in Genesis
18 & 19 they ignore the warnings of Jesus to turn from their sin and to
call upon His name for salvation. They
mock the cross and the blood of Christ poured out for sin and there is no more
offering for sin that God will accept outside of the pure spotless blood of His
Son that was poured out upon the cross.
Hebrews chapter 10 warns against trampling
under foot the blood of Jesus.
Hebrews 10:26-31
26 For if we sin
wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there
remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking
for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law
died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment,
suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of
God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified,
an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath
said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And
again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall
into the hands of the living God.
