Part Three Section 4 He who endures to the end shall be saved

Part Three Section 4 He who endures to the end shall be saved.

Matthew 24:13
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Will the Church really be victorious and triumphant in the time of the Lord’s appearing? Or will she be taken captive and be a persecuted suffering church?

  1.   I know there is a lot of teaching about the church being triumphant and victorious and defeating those who stand opposed to the church and that we will be wealthy have the world’s wealth given to us.
  2. That we will be ruling the nations by making them Christians and bringing them under God’s laws or more correctly under the laws that God gave to Moses at Mt Sinai, or the Laws given to Noah after the flood.
  3. This latter is what the New Apostolic Reformation, the Hebrew Roots / Jewish roots movement and the Ultra-Orthodox Jews, the Masons and the New World Order want to bring the nations under.
  4.  They the Christians who belong to some of these groups teach this and they believe that the church will defeat the antichrist, rule for a thousand years and when all the earth is subdued then Christ will come back.
  5. There is teaching that Christ will inhabit this triumphant body called the many membered man child and His Spirit will cause them to take over and have dominion on the earth.
  6. That the leaders will be the new apostles and prophets and everyone on this planet must be under their authority or the authority under the top leaders in other words everyone will be answerable to somebody or other over them who is one of their recognized prophets and apostles who get their directions from the very top through a pyramid type system.
  7. These leaders  get their directions from God somehow and pass what they believe they get from God down through the pyramid system food chain, sort of like Chinese whispers.
  8. They don’t like it when people refuse to come under their control and they call these people Pharisees and heretics for not buying into their fairy tales of world domination.  They are representing a Christ but the Christ they follow is not the God of the bible but is in fact the false Christ the Bible warns us to watch out for.  They are building his kingdom the devil’s kingdom and not the kingdom of our Lord.
  9. When Jesus comes back it will be He who will wage war in righteousness against His enemies and He alone has that right to do so and for Him to exact vengeance against those who oppose Him and are disobedient to the gospel whether they belong to the world secular govt or religious body of the one world religion.  They will all have to give an account to the Lord Jesus in the end.
  10. In fact Jesus said that before He comes back there will be will be false prophets and false Christs along with lying signs and wonders done by these people.
  11.  All of the above points including this one have been dealt with in depth in the first three points, but reading what the Lord says in his Olivet discourse and the book of Revelation and Paul’s warnings about the last days of the rise of the Son of Perdition in 2 Thessalonians and also Peter’s, Jude’s, John’s warnings in their letters of false prophets and teachers it makes me think that the true church will not be triumphant but will undergo the same sufferings the Lord did leading up to His crucifixion and this will go for Israel too.
  12. That like the Lord the church and Israel will be taken captive by the evil one in his brief hour of darkness on the earth to do with them as he wills.  Though he won’t get off scot free for while he is persecuting the saints and Israel, God will be pouring out His righteous indignation and wrath upon satan’s kingdom through the trumpet and vial judgments.  The saints and Israel will suffer persecution, death and both will have no one to turn to for help for the whole world will be against the believers in Christ and Israel.
  13. The only place that will be safe will be the Lord Himself the saints through death will be taken to heaven.
  14. For those saints in Christ who are still living on the earth at the end of the Great Tribulation they will be caught up to be with Him alive or resurrected from their sleep of death in Him at His appearing.
  15. For Israel God will keep His people safe somehow in a hidden place best known to Himself and will keep a remnant alive from the leaders both political and the priests.  These people will possibly be descendants of those who rejected Him when He came the first time and these will be the ones who will call upon Him to save them when the nations finally do come up against Jerusalem.
  16. The suffering church who will be the overcoming church.  The remnant of Israel who come to faith in Christ before and at His appearing will be added to this body of believers that make up the church.
  17. So reading the scriptures what seems to stand out for those who are alive at this hour of darkness on the earth before the Lord’s glorious second appearing is for the saints to persevere, to not to lose heart.  So that they can be counted worthy to stand before the Lord at His second coming.
  18. To learn the lesson of His patience, to endure and count it all joy when we encounter various trials, not to give up.  To overcome and should we overcome all of these trials and not deny our Lord.  We will come into our inheritance with Him at His appearing and we will receive our rewards when He comes as long as we don’t deny Him and keep our garments clean.
  19. So this church won’t be doing great signs and wonders to show how strong we are but it is through weakness and faithful holding onto the Lord of life will we enter into the kingdom we enter through identifying with Christ in His sufferings.
  20. Just as Christ suffered before He entered into His glory so we too will suffer to enter into our glory. Which is to enter into life eternal and the eternal kingdom to rule and reign with Him as priests and kings.
  21.  For when the enemies of Christ see Him coming in the clouds along with His saints and angels in His glory they will see those who have been changed into His likeness in their glorified bodies and they will see also on them the same marks of suffering that their Lord bears. These marks of suffering were gained through various persecutions done to the saints down the centuries culminating in the horrors of the Great Tribulation.
Learn the lesson of patience which brings about perseverance
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
James 1:2-4, 12
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Revelation 3:10-12
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

We will bear the marks of His sufferings when He appears we will be like Him.

Romans 8:17-18
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Moral of the story to overcome we need to be like Jesus to learn the lesson of His patience and He learnt obedience by what He suffered Hebrews 5:7-10 and like Him at times we need to learn obedience by what we suffer.

From learning obedience we also learn patience and by patience we gain perseverance and by perseverance we gain our salvation for obedience, patience and perseverance helps us to stand in adversity and trials
It will help us to overcome and to overcome the enemy through the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb and the laying down of our lives for the Lord Jesus.
Revelation 12:10-11
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Matthew 16:24-28
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

This leads me to the last and final point in Part Three on the birth pangs increasing, that being point 5 When the gospel is preached to all the world the end will come.
