Part Three Section 3 Increase of Iniquity and love of many growing cold.
Matthew 24:1212 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
This links in with the verse above, false prophets cause so much damage in the church through their false prophecies they take people captive. They appeal to the flesh nature of man they appeal to the pride of life which we must avoid at all costs.
1 John 2:15-23
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
They do not apologize when their prophecies fail but go on to spew forth more false prophecies that will fail as well, but they spin tall yarns to keep people running after them. They put a different spin on their prophecies that fail saying it did come to pass but in a spiritual way or people need to jump through more hoops to bring it about.
Each time their prophecies fails they move the goal posts and blame the people for it not happening, by accusing them of not having enough faith in the word for it to be fulfilled. This does great damage to the believers and causes them to lose heart and causes them to fall away.
Or they get people so fixated on thinking that God has a destiny or plan of greatness for them that instead of looking at what Christ did for them on the cross. The gospel becomes me centered man centred what is in it for me.
Not how can we do the will of God in serving Him and bringing Him joy by fulfilling His purposes on this earth to bring many out of satan's domain into His kingdom of light.
The leaders are so busy deceiving people and living a life of sin and debauchery. So much so that lawlessness in the form of iniquity is in the church to such an extent that you cannot tell the difference between the world and the church any more.
We are supposed to live holy lives not live lives filled with sin like the world.
God expected the Israelites to be Holy as He is Holy so Jesus also expects His followers to be holy too.
Deuteronomy 7:6
For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
1 Peter 1:15-16
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Yet the leaders are constantly telling people that the gospel the preaching of the word is too weak to win sinners. That no one wants to listen to words from a dusty old book one of their false prophets words of disdain concerning the bible this is what he called the bible a dusty old book. They say the bible and the cross is too offensive today for our modern culture.
Tha the bible is too old fashioned, too old hat that we must use the world's means to win people to Christ so they use trendy hip sermons innovative speaking. The trendy hip speakers give one scripture to give the appearance they are speaking the word but they spend the next forty or so minutes of their sermon (they call it talks nowadays) spouting forth the wisdom of men.
They use worldly music in the churches they use contemplative prayer to get people hooked on mysticism that is of the devil to open people to doctrines of demons rather than teaching them how to hear God's voice through the scriptures.
They live lifestyles full of sin and encourage others to do so.
Romans 1:28-32
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
They talk about love without truth they do not warn of the wrath to come for they say God is not like this, He is too loving to send people to hell. They teach universalism where all roads and ways lead to God and no one will end up in hell, they don't believe in hell but preach against it. Thereby angering a righteous and holy God who cannot look upon sin and whose wrath is coming in the Day of His Vengeance which is the Day of Christ His second coming.
These people are the mockers that Peter warns will come in the last days mocking the things of God that we should beware of them for their judgment is coming swiftly.
2 Peter 3:1-18
This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
They accuse God the Father of commiting child abuse by sending His Son to die a horrible death on the cross they thereby put down the work of atonement which God wrought through Christ on the cross. This is the only way we can be cleansed from all sin and they are trampling underfoot the blood of Jesus.
In fact how can it be child abuse pray tell? When God had promised that He will send a redeemer from the time sin entered into the human race from Adam's transgression of the covenant in the Garden of Eden.
Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
God prepared this body for His Son so that He could die on the cross thereby pouring our His pure holy sinless blood like a drink offering unto God.
God is a Spirit while Jesus as the second person of the Godhead appeared to the Patriarchs and the prophets in the Old Testament in human form.
The body He appeared to them in was a spiritual body, a spiritual body cannot bleed, as He didn't have a flesh and blood body and blood atones for sin. He couldn't atone for our sins as a spirit being. He had to be born a human being to be able to do this.
That was why animals had to be sacrificed in the Old Testament to cover sin through their blood. For life is in the blood.
That is why Jesus came in a human body so that He can pour out His life giving blood on the cross to cover our sins. I have written a study on the Importance of the Atonement or Life is in the blood I may put this on the weblog at a later stage.
People need to understand the significance of what Jesus did on the cross through giving up His life in this way. He had power to lay it down His life and power to take it up again.
These people who say that God was abusing His Son in allowing Him to die on the cross don't have a clue as to what the atonement for sin is all about nor do they know the Bible or Christ Himself they are not born again.
Yes a human body was on that cross but that body was totally indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God. For He was not corrupted by sin nor did He have the fallen nature of man but was fully God with God's nature.
Hebrews 10:5-10
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Colossians 1:12-23
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Colossians 2:9-10
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Ephesians 1:7-23

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
God had Abraham offer up His Son Isaac as a fore runner of the coming of Christ who is the Father's Son to be offered up in the place of sinful mankind to redeem them from eternal damnation. How else can we be saved except through His blood how else can we understand God asking Abraham to offer up Isaac except through what Christ came to do on this earth.
Jesus said Abraham saw His day and rejeoiced.
John 8:56-58
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
These people who preach from the pulpits who teach and write such things are very ignorant of the things of God they are blind fools leading the blind and both will fall into the ditch. They are devil's Advocates wolves in sheep's clothing and to be avoided at all costs they are not born again but are tares among the wheat.
The scriptures speak very strongly about what happens to those who treat with disdain the blood atonement of Jesus.
Hebrews 6:4-8
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Hebrews 10:26-31
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Any wonder people are falling into sin and lawlessness and the love of many are growing cold because of all the false teaching people are receiving.
They are full of pride and lust and they are embracing lifestyles that God hates and calls abomible that of homoseuality and this sin caused the downfall of Sodom and Gomorrah and the Greek and Roman Empires and it will destroy the west and the church that is apostate as well.
Leviticus 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Romans 1:18-28
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
We are to live holy lives and by living holy lives and walking closely with God we can avoid this pitfall in the apostate churches today that are turning people away from God and telling lies to them that they can do the same thing as Christ did even bigger and better things for they are as God Himself through having His DNA.
That they are the new breed and they are little gods or little christs hence the many false christs that will arise in the last days.
They will be false christs for they will falsely believe that they are little gods by having the nature of God Himself and can do supernatural works like He can because they are God and thereby sinless and can do whatever they like. They cannot they are not God but are mere men made in His image that has been marred by the fall of Adam into sin.
Christ is the second Adam and He came to save us from sin and if these people don't repent of their wicked ways they will end up in hell.
Romans 5:10-21
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

1 Corinthians 15:21-28, 45-58
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
We are warned that we are known by the company we keep and bad company corrupts good.
We are exalted in scripture to mark those who bring division in the body of Christ and don't teach the correct doctrine.
1 Corinthians 15:33-34
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Romans 16:17-20
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
In fact a lot of their teaching these corrupt leaders comes from Eastern Mysticism, Gnosticism, even from Kabbalistic sources. These things have been infiltrating a lot of churches today and they come from the Roman Catholic Babylonian Harlot system through the Desert Fathers and through the Jesuits.

All these things are weakening the church, corrupting it and making it apostate so much so that many will end up turning on those who standing for truth and righteousness and will hand them over to be killed.
They will become so self absorbed and only serving themselves for their own self interests. They will not be interested in God or others but will only be interested in the church in a what's in it for me attitude.
They will see in some cases the church is there to feed and clothe them and to stroke their egos to make them feel good about themselves . They are not interested in sin or salvation to turn from their sins but they want to wallow in them and woe betide anyone calling them to repentance.
They are in rebellion against God and these people will reap the whirlwind of God's righteous wrath against sin.
They will no longer care for the sick the needy and show hospitality to those in the household of faith. Even if they do good works it is done to make them look good. Or to earn their way to heaven not because they really care about the people they are helping, though some might care for them.
Some are on a power trip for the idea that you are little gods will appeal to their hugely inflated egos. These people are more like their father the devil than they are of the Father in heaven who is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ we can tell these people by their fruits which I have dealt with in the section on false prophets.
In fact a lot of places are now doing away with the gospel message and are busily trying to save cultures rather than preaching the message of the gospel of salvation from the scriptures.
They tell tall stories of supposed miracles you can't prove to make them look good so that the focus is on them instead of upon Christ.
People are coming to men and women and not Christ they are taking the place of Christ. In fact they are taking Christ place as the mediator between God and man and putting themselves in that place as mediator. This is very much like how the Pope in Rome acts as though he is Christ as a mediator between God and the people of the Roman church world wide.
This also relates the section on false prophets because in the NAR people are being told to follow such and such a leader, to be aligned with an apostle or prophet and to go to him or her to get their touch from God to get their anointing.
This is divisive and Paul rebukes the Corinthians for doing this very thing.
1 Corinthians 1:10-13
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
This sort of stuff kills faith in God and it leads to humanism and idolatry which is witchcraft, it is the fruit of the flesh.
Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
No wonder with all of this going on that Jesus wonders will He find faith on the earth at His return.
Luke 18:7-8
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
You get the picture so without further ado I will now move onto the next point. Which is point 4 He who endures to the end shall be saved.
