Man died spiritually in a garden due to sin Jesus conquered death by dying on the cross near a garden and rising from death in a garden tomb

Introduction

I am going to do a series of five different posts of short articles about the work of Jesus and His Father.

They will come under the following post or lesson headings:

All of these mini lessons I wrote a few years ago except for lesson 3 this one is a new lesson.

They are not linked in any specific way other than in the work of redemption that God the Father and His Son Jesus did to save humankind from their sins.  This is the main thread throughout the five mini lessons.

I am looking at God's work of redemption from different angels.  It is sort of looking at a flawless diamond in different lights to see the many different facets of salvation.

After I have done this series I will do another Red Alert News Flash for November / December.

Jesus conquered death by dying near a garden 
This is only a short article about how sin was committed in a garden causing man to die spiritually and how God dealt with sin in a garden by having His Son dying on a cross near / and rising from death in a garden.

How it all began the fall of man in the Garden of Eden

• The serpent beguiled Eve to eat of the tree of Good and Evil which was in the Garden of Eden.  When both she and Adam ate they both died spiritually.
• God promised that He will deal with sin through the seed of woman who will crush the serpent’s head and he will bruise the one who crushes his head on the heel.

Genesis 3:1-15
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Before I go any further in regards to the seed of woman being the enemy of the seed of the serpent.

I want to draw attention to the things I have highlighted in red in the passage above.  I will put them in point form.

• The serpent was more cunning than all of the creatures that God had created.  This being also walked upright for we know this because God later on curses the serpent by making it crawl upon the earth on its belly eating dust.
• It is quite possible that satan possessed the serpent so that he could tempt the woman into eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge.  
• He wanted to get back at God for his being kicked out of heaven.  For in Ezekiel 28 it speaks of satan being in the garden of Eden.

Ezekiel 28:12-19

12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

•  He wanted to get back at God through His creation of mankind by making them sin in rebelling against God's commands to transgress the covenant God made with man.

Hosea 6:7 Orthodox Jewish Bible
7 But they are like Adam, they have transgressed the brit (covenant); there have they dealt treacherously against Me.

What is the Edenic covenant?

• God does not say anything concerning the tree of Life just the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil man is not to eat from.  
• So both Adam and Eve could eat of the Tree of Life I believe if they ate of it this tree would have sustained them giving them eternal life.  In a way Jesus represents the Tree of Life for He is is life and He gives eternal life, and He says in Revelation 22 that those who belong to Him can eat of this tree.

Revelation 22:13-14

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

• Worse case scenario is if Adam and Eve did eat of this tree of Life, then ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  
• Then God would not have been able to save mankind because they would live forever and there would have been enmity between God and mankind forever.
• That is why God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden to protect them from eating of the Tree of Life and thereby being lost for eternity. 
•  Also God killed the first animal to clothe them with skins to cover their nakedness.

Genesis 3:21-24

21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

• Notice the serpent sowed seeds of doubt into the woman's mind by questioning God's command not to eat of the tree of knowledge.
• Also notice how Eve added to the command by stating God said not to eat of the tree and not to touch it.  
• ⦁ Satan is still sowing doubts into peoples minds about God's nature and character.  He is still lying to them like he lied to Eve by telling people they are gods.  Also people are still adding to or taking away from the words of God or corrupting the scriptures by twisting them to make them mean something totally different to what God said and meant in His perfect word.
• God only said they were not to eat of the tree He didn't say anything about not touching the tree.

Genesis 2:8-9, 15-17

8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 3:1-3

• After satan through the serpent sowed the seeds of doubt about what God said about Adam and Eve dying if they did eat of this tree.  God was speaking about spiritual death but physical death would follow on from this deed as well.
• Satan also sowed doubt into the woman's mind about not only God Himself, His character but he sowed doubt into her mind about what God said in that did He mean what He said.  Would they die or was He being mean by keeping them away from a tree that would make them wise and to be like God Himself in having knowledge of Good and Evil.  
• This made Eve desire to be wise and like God and also she began to lust after the fruit of the tree seeing that is desirable to be eaten.  

Genesis 3:4-6

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

1 John 2:1-17

1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.
Genesis 3:6-7
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

• So she took from the tree and ate then she gave the fruit to her husband and he did eat too.
• Notice this one thing it was only after Adam ate the fruit did their eyes be opened to see that they both were naked and they tried to cover their sin by sewing fig leaves to make aprons to cover themselves.  Also interesting to note the masons wear aprons in their rituals as well are they still trying to cover the sin of the first Adam in doing this?   

Genesis 3:8-10

8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

• After they did this they hid (sin causes us to hide from God) themselves from God when God came walking in the garden in the cool of the evening.  
• God called for Adam and He wanted Adam to answer Him, He knew where Adam was but God wanted Adam to answer Him rather than God dragging him out.

Genesis 3:11-13

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

• God wanted Adam to take responsibility for his action in eating the fruit and breaking the covenant.
• Instead Adam blamed Eve who in turn blamed the serpent and as the old joke says the serpent didn't have a leg to stand on.  He had no one to blame in the blame game for he was to blame for causing all of the strife by causing Adam with Eve to fall into sin through his deception of Eve.
• My main point of interest is what God was going to do to the serpent by making him crawl on his belly all the days of his life.   That is why he didn't have a leg to stand on, God took away his legs.

Genesis 3:14-15

14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel

• That he was to be cursed above all of God's creatures and most importantly there was going to be emininty between the serpent seed and the seed of woman.
• In other words God was going to crush the head of the serpent the devil through sending His Son Jesus to be born of the seed of woman as the redeemer of mankind from sin.  
• God passed judgment upon the serpent first before He passed judgment upon Adam and Eve, for their sin against Him and thereby breaking the Edenic covenant.

Genesis 3:16-19

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Birth of Jesus in fulfillment of Genesis 3:15
When Jesus was born He was born of the seed of woman and He was born in the body that was written of Him in the book a body prepared for death.
Matthew 1:16-25

God the redeemer of Israel

• God is the redeemer of Israel He declares this about Himself many times in Isaiah and also He needed to be born in a human body so that He can bleed and die and offer His blood to His Father in heaven.
• For the life of the soul is in the blood see Leviticus chapter 17 concerning this.
• So that it can be placed on the Mercy Seat of the Heavenly Ark of the Covenant as an eternal sin offering forever in heaven.  
• His blood brought peace between God and man and cleansed the things in heaven.

Isaiah 43:3
3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Isaiah 44:6
6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isaiah 47:4
4 As for our redeemer, the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 48:17
17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

Hebrews 10:12-25

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Jesus is the New Covenant 

• This physical cup of redemption Jesus gave to His disciples to drink as a ratification of the blood covenant He was going to become on the cross.  
• This cup was the cup of the New Covenant of redemption and Jesus drank the spiritual cup in the Garden, where He wrestled with sin and His will and He shed blood in the process of doing so and overcame.

Matthew 26:26-30
 26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
Mark 14:22-26
22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

God conquered sin in a garden  In other words the work of redemption began in the Garden of Gethsemane.

• The trouble with sin began in a garden and God finished it in a garden for through His Son He triumphed over sin and death in a garden. 
• Jesus wrestled with sin by shedding blood in a garden, the Garden of Gethsemane.
• Gethsemane means oil press.  Jesus life was literally pressed out, His spirit was crushed and overwhelmed at what was to come.  
• He was tested, was He going to forgo drinking the cup of God's wrath by going to the cross or was He going to go through with the plan of redemption.  By surrendering His will completely to His Father.
• He triumphed over His will so that He could go onto die on the cross as the sin bearer. 
• Jesus drank the bitter cup of God's wrath which was to become our salvation in the garden.  
• That is He drank to the very dregs the bitter cup of God’s wrath against sin so that He can redeem mankind and the nation of Israel from sin.

The reason why I mention Israel in connection to sin.  It is because Jesus may have agonised over the fate of both Israel, Jerusalem and the temple being destroyed when He was in prayer in the Garden.  

He was agonizing over taking the cup of God's wrath and what this may mean for Israel and Jerusalem.  That is in taking this cup it would mean that Israel / Jerusalem will suffer the consequences of their rejecting Him of being their King.

It will come right in the end of days that when the armies come up against Jerusalem His people will finally call for Him to save them from their enemies and to repent of their sin of rejecting Him from being their Messiah/ King.

Please note that the Mt of Olive on which the Garden of Gethsemane  was located.  That this was a place of significance for Jesus it was His favorite place to go to leading up to the Passover.

He slept on the Mount of Olives at night, possibly in the Garden of Gethsemane and He spent the day teaching in the temple.

Jesus triumphed over sin and death in / near a garden

• For in the place where Jesus died outside the camp was a garden.
•  He was buried in a garden and He rose again from the dead in a garden.
• He ascended to heaven from this place and He will come again to this same place to vanquish His enemy the devil.

John 19:38-42
38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.

The significance of the Mt of Olives in the burial, death, resurrection and return of Jesus.

• As Jesus died outside the camp which means He would have died opposite the temple to the east of the temple and He would have been facing west.

• For where the tourists are taken to view where Jesus died and rose again in the Holy Sepulchre church in Jerusalem is incorrect.  
• For the simple reason this place is in the city itself and in no way would the Jews have allowed the Romans to crucify anyone in the city of Jerusalem itself.
• Near where Jesus was buried was a lot of graves and there would have been no graves in the city of Jerusalem as this would have made the city unclean.  People were buried outside of the city, possibly on the Mt of Olives. Or near it.
• Besides the sin offering in the Old Testament of the red heifer and the other sin offerings including the sin offerings that are specifically done on the Day of Atonement they all had to be taken outside the camp to be burned after parts of them are offered on the altar before the Tabernacle / temple.  
• This Mt of Olives is situated outside the walls of Jerusalem to the east.  
• This same Mt of Olives is going to be split in half when Jesus descends from heaven upon it on the Day of Atonement aka the Lord’s Day.
• So that His people can escape from the armies that are invading Jerusalem and He will fight against these invading armies on behalf of His people.

• This mountain is significant to God because I believe He had Abraham offer his son Isaac on this mountain and God Himself offered His own Son Jesus on this mountain to atone for mankind’s sins as well.

Genesis 22:1-14
1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

God the Gardener.

• It is interesting that Mary thought that the risen Jesus was the Gardener when she saw Him on the morning of His resurrection.  
• This is true for God is a gardener He planted a garden and put man in that Garden at the beginning.
• Also Jesus spoke of His Father as being a gardener that every plant that is not planted by Him, He will pluck up  Jesus spoke of His Father pruning Him as the vine into which we are all planted as believers in Him.

John 20:14-18
 14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

God uses His prophets to do gardening

• Even Jeremiah was told to uproot and to destroy that is what a gardener does, they weed out bad plants that are poisonous and weeds.  

Jeremiah 1:3-10
3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7 But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.
9 Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

• True prophets are called to root up and destroy the bad weeds of false teaching and false prophecy so that the word of the Lord the scriptures can fall on good soil and produce fruit for the Lord.  
• However if bad stuff is being preached all of the time in the churches then they will be overrun with weeds and the weeds will choke the good soil.
• Thereby people will become malnourished through the poisoned fruit they are eating and will produce bad fruit because of the weeds that are being sown among them through the false teachers and false prophets.
• If the true prophets of God are not allowed to do their work in rooting up, destroying and exposing bad teaching.
• Then it bodes ill for that church for forbidding the true prophets of God from doing what God has called them to do that is be watchmen and women of His to watch out for bad teaching and to warn against it.  
• To root it out and to expose it.  If a minister is wise he should listen to God’s true watchmen and women who are His true prophets and allow them to expose that which is false and harmful to the body of Christ.
• That is why God Himself weeds out bad plants, He also prunes the vine so that it continues to bring forth good fruit.  
• God is always pruning His Son the vine and the body of His Son which are the branches so that it can be fruitful and bring forth fruit that is abundant, healthy and pleasing unto Him.
• So when a true prophet speaks a word of warning, rebuke from the Lord.
• Those who are hearing it better sit up and pay attention for God does speak this way He doesn’t always just speak sugar coated fluff.  
• He tells stuff as it is and He calls out sin for what it is sin and warns those whom He loves to repent and He does discipline those He loves.  
• So in a sense both Jesus and His Father are gardeners for Jesus Himself does speak hard words to those seven churches in Revelation and He is weeding out bad fruit.

Dream I had of God being a gardener In a dream over 9 years ago I have seen God as a gardener and He was pruning a vine like tree and He was wearing this tree across the garment He was wearing.  I have written this dream down in greater detail elsewhere.

God had a solution for sin when Adam sinned.

• God didn’t leave man in limbo He didn’t just walk away from man but He promised man that He will make a way of redemption for him to come spiritually back to God.  He did this through His beloved Son Jesus a human / divine sacrifice whose blood is eternal and will never fade away or wax old.
• God made man and He placed man into a Garden to tend it. 
• Sin entered in and brought spiritual death in a garden, God the Son became man by being born as a man through seed of woman.
• He wrestled with sin in a garden and died and was buried in a garden.  
• He drank to the bitter dregs the spiritual cup of redemption that His Father gave Him to drink for both Israel as a nation and mankind.  
• God became the living redeemer of Israel through the blood covenant of His Son’s human body. 
• Jesus rose again from the Garden Tomb He will come again to the place that He rose again from that is the Mt of Olives.
• He will rule over Jerusalem from the throne of David and the Mt Zion will be raised up higher than the other mountains.
• This mountain will be a holy mountain where no hurt or harm will be done upon it and it will be like the Garden of Eden and God’s peace will be like a river flowing out of it with trees of healing upon it for the nation.

Isaiah 2:2-4
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Isaiah 51:3
3 For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
Zechariah 14:1-21
 1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.
Joel 3:16-21
16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.
Ezekiel 47:1-12
1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
2 Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
3 And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.
4 Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.
5 Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.
6 And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.
7 Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.
8 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
9 And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
10 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.
11 But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.
12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

The New Jerusalem will be the Tabernacle of God.  

• It all ends in the celestial city of the New Heavens and the New Earth but it will also be a new beginning for God and Humankind.
• When the New Heavens and earth are brought into existence God will not be starting out in a Garden in this new heaven and earth but He will dwell openly with man His redeemed people in the Tabernacle of His bride the New Jerusalem.  
• God will dwell in the tent of His Holy City the New Jerusalem openly with His people for there will be no more sin to bring walls between God and man.  
• God will be living openly on earth the New Earth in this holy city with His redeemed people.

Revelation 21:1-7, 22-26
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
Revelation 22:1-7
 1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
