IDF accidently kills three hostages
- Three hostages were shot accidently by the IDF because they thought they were a threat. Were they pushed into the IDF line of fire so that the terrorists could flee to safety? Were they abandoned to their fate or were they set up as human shields to hide the terrorists to take the brunt of the IDF fire and thereby be killed by their own Israeli soldiers?
- The IDF were not expecting to see hostages and naturally thought that the people they saw were a threat as they had already been battling suicide bombers and intense fire by the terrorists and before the incident the terrorists were trying to lure them into an ambush. Even after the accidental shooting of the hostages the terrorists were again attacking the IDF.
- Why were the hostages being held in the northern suburbs of Gaza which is an active war zone? Are there more hostages held there too and is this how the HAMAS terrorists plan to have the hostages killed through the IDF accidently shooting at them?
- I wouldn't put it past them for they are barbaric thugs, demons in men's bodies they are totally depraved and if this is what they plan to do then God will deal with them and He will show them no mercy.
- Now the IDF has to be more cautious and learn from this tragic incident in case more hostages are either abandoned or somehow escape. That they won't be shot by accident when they encounter the IDF.
- My heart goes out to the families of those hostages who were tragically killed by mistake and to Israel overall. In the heat of a battle it is harder to tell who is friend or foe and to be able to trust what you are seeing in front of you.
- How could the IDF tell if this was a genuine case of hostages appearing before them or see it as a threat of a potential ambush.
- Unfortunately it turned out to be a genuine case of hostages seeking help but they were killed and now all of Israel will be mourning along side of their families for these three young men.
- Of course the devil and the world will use this to accuse Israel of killing civilians even more now and put the pressure on Israel for a ceasefire and to push even more now for a two state solution with the HAMAS led Palestinians.

Update on this tragic event
- Unfortunately it turns out that the three hostages were shirtless and waving a white flag for some reason a soldier fired on these people even though the IDF were commanded not to fire on them.
- If that is the case then the person who disobeyed the order not to fire may have to face a court martial for disobeying orders and not abiding by the international understanding of a white flag not to fire on people.
- The soldiers may be facing battle fatigue if they have been fighting for days and their judgement is impaired due to battle fatigue. So this will need to be thoroughly looked into to prevent any further tragedies of hostages being killed in the future by friendly fire.
- Unfortunately things like this do happen in war. At least the IDF is taking full responsibility for their actions in this tragic incident.

Now onto Part 4 of this blog the cost of not standing with Israel, as well as the cost of standing with Israel as her friends.
Introduction
- I will write about the cost of not standing with Israel and how God is testing the nations to see who will stand with Him for Israel or who will go against Him by siding with His enemies who are turning against Israel.
- The whole world seems to be taken captive by the false god of Islam and they are turning towards that god showing favour to it by their support of Pro Palestinian rallies and the uprise of Jew hatred around the world.
- Even nations that were once strong supporters of Israel are now turning against her or speaking out of both sides of their mouth concerning her.
- I will focus on Australia as an example of this.
- Further down this blog I will also show how there is a cost in support of Israel but also I will show how the church is also turning against Israel.
- The people of Islam will come first for the Saturday people then the Sunday people so the church need not think that it will escape being persecuted because they will not escape. They too will be persecuted and will be put to death down the track just like the Jews now are being attacked for being Jews. We who are Christians will be persecuted and attacked put to death for being followers of Christ.
- This rise in Islam will bring about the rise in terrorism across the globe it will bring about a demise in the western way of life this will be brought out further in this blog post.
God is testing both the nations and individuals right now through how they are handling the situation with Israel and HAMAS.
In fact God is shaking everything that can be shaken and this is just the beginning of the birth pangs. This testing will turn to judgements so severe that even God's judgements against Pharaoh of Egypt in the book of Exodus will pale into insignificance.
Nations are bringing not only God's judgement down upon themselves, they are bringing God's curse upon them for they are cursing the God of Israel through how they are treating the people of Israel.

- My own personal thoughts based on experience of both living and working in Australia with the Dept. of Immigration as a citizenship officer.
- I know for a fact that doing security checks on people coming to Australia takes a while and it cannot be done over night. To check that people have no terrorist or other background issues needs to be done very thoroughly and it cannot be done in five minutes.
- So how is it that these people were granted visas to come to Australia from the 7 October when the terrorist attacks took place in Israel?
- How were these people granted visas on the very day that this heinous attack took place? What did the Albanese Govt know that the rest of Australia didn't know?
- They should be called out for this as it would not be possible to have adequate security checks done on these people wanting to leave Gaza even on the day of the attacks on Israel before Israel declared war on Gaza. They were issuing visas.
- How do the Australian people know for sure that these people leaving Gaza on visa's issued to them by the Australian Govt don't have links to HAMAS? That they are not potential terrorist threats to that nation. Can this Govt give the Australian people that assurance that these people are no threat to Australia? I personally doubt it.
- What kind of visas are they on when they come to Australia? How do they know that these people will go back to Gaza when their visa expires? Or will they end up being overstayers, illegal and end up disappearing into the Muslim communities that are scattered throughout Australia. How do they know they won't form terrorist cells with sleepers who are already in the community.
- Some may be genuine people who have no links to HAMAS wanting to leave Gaza but others may not be innocent of having links with HAMAS but want to fight a holy war (jihad) against Australia and the western nations.
- So Australia beware you do not know who you may end up having in your midst that will end up harming the Jews, the Christians and others within your borders and try to force you to bow the knee to their god allah and become Muslim. Just be warned because it will happen eventually.
- God will eventually deal with Australia for siding with the UN calling for a ceasefire meddling with the war that God is waging on Gaza and He will not allow a ceasefire to take place until He is satisfied that what He wants done there in this war has been accomplished.
- God does not take kindly to those who fight against His beloved Israel and He will bring judgement down on any nation that does call for her destruction or side with those who do.
- How can Australians trust this Govt that obviously doesn't care about the security of the borders of Australia, let alone security of the people within the nation?
- This weak lily livered cowardly government ought to be sacked and I hope to God they will be voted out in the next election or forced into an early election and given a vote of no confidence by the Australian people.
- I have the right to say this as I am Australian by birth although I am now a citizen of another nation.

Message from the Bishop
The situation in Gaza, the events which precipitated Israel's current military action against Hamas are disturbing for those of us far away and terrifying for those held hostage, being bombed (in Gaza and in Israel), and, within Gaza, facing extreme shortages of the basics of life. As President Biden and others seek to influence decision-making we can do little but we can pray and there is one avenue of practical support we can consider.
Our prayers can be influenced by this statement of our own Archbishops, responding to a communication from Archbishop Hosan Naoum of Jerusalem:
"The Archbishops support the call of Archbishop Hosam Naoum, The Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, alongside The Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, for a global day of prayer and fasting on Tuesday 17 October in response to the breakout of war in the Holy Land.
Archbishop Don says, 'We know the history and politics of the region are incredibly fraught and complex, but our hearts are with the innocent Palestinian and Israeli children and families who have been killed and are suffering because of terrorism and military atrocity.'' The Archbishops wish to echo the call of Archbishop Hosam for a two-state solution in the region that will allow Palestinian and Israeli families to live together in a just and lasting peace. The Archbishops will be attending a House of Bishops meeting today with Diocesan and Amorangi Bishops from around the Province, and will ask those gathered to join them in fasting and prayer for Israel-Palestine, and for the rights of oppressed and marginalised Indigenous peoples throughout the Anglican Communion."
Although the call to prayer (made in northern hemisphere time), specific to Tuesday 17 October, is out of date, we can pray and fast through this week. It was good on Monday night to be part of a congregation of 20 people who gathered in the Transitional Cathedral for a Prayer Vigil for Peace in the Middle East. Parishes are encouraged to consider hosting such vigils through the coming week.
Overnight we have learned the terrible news about an Anglican hospital in Gaza, the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. This hospital has been in operation since the 19th century so has survived two world wars to date, including battles fought nearby by the ANZACs in 1917. Unfortunately, it was hit by a missile overnight, with 500 people taking refuge in the hospital killed, and the hospital itself 80% out of action. I understand that there is likely to be a worldwide Anglican appeal for funds to rebuild this hospital. We will provide details in e-Life when they come to hand.
This last paragraph is a lie the hospital was not bombed by an Israeli missile nor were there 500 people killed as subsequent news items showed from more reliable sources than the Palestinian Health ministry which is run by Hamas. It was a Hamas missile that was misfired, in fact it was from another terrorist organisation fighting alongside Hamas. Only 50 people were killed not 500.
Also interesting how often the name of this hospital has changed too. First it was an Arabic hospital, then it was a Baptist one now the Bishop says it is an Anglican one. Make up your minds which is it?
Also waste of time raising funds to fix these places until the war is over and Hamas is exterminated for good if possible.
A two state solution is a waste of time as these people do not want to live in peace with Israel they want to kill every single Jew and to take their land by force. They don't own the land they are trespassers and thieves.

Joel 3:1-21

5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.
Zephaniah 3:8-20
8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

Zechariah 14:1-21

14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.
Revelation 16:12-16
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Finally why is standing with Israel is important?
It is important because of the following reasons.
Israel the land of God's inheritance / heritage
In case you are wondering God does have an inheritance it is a land of which He says is His heritage and that land is called Israel and He has a particular tribal heritage and that tribe is Judah.
Deuteronomy 32:8-9
8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
9 For the Lord's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
Leviticus 25:23
23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
Jeremiah 10:1-16

Judah the tribe of God's Inheritance
Zechariah 2:12
12 And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
Why does God have a heritage in Israel?
It is because His Son Jesus Christ or in Hebrew Yeshua was born there in Bethlehem of the tribe of Judah.
One day very soon Jesus is going to come in great wrath to claim His inheritance ie the land of Israel with Jerusalem as His seat of authority which is the throne of David.
For He is the descendant of King David through the line of Mary the hidden line of Nathan who is David's other son to Bathsheba.
